UGA to launch new School of Medicine
The University System of Georgia Board of Regents voted in February to authorize the University of Georgia to establish a new independent School of Medicine in Athens. This new independent school springs from the foundation of the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership, which has been educating medical students in Athens since 2010.
